AP Cybersecurity launches in 2026-27 and is equivalent to a first-year college introduction to cybersecurity. Developed with college faculty and industry partners, it aligns with the NICE Workforce Framework. For students heading towards computer science, software engineering or information systems it complements the programming focus of AP Computer Science A with the defensive and risk-analysis side of the field.

AP Siber Güvenlik exam structure
Review the section-by-section breakdown of the AP Siber Güvenlik exam, administered worldwide by the College Board every May. Each section is drilled separately in our 1:1 and small-group programs so you build strategy for the parts of the test that matter most to your score.
Section I: Multiple Choice
70%60 questions in 1 hour 20 minutes — individual questions plus sets of 2-4 sharing a stimulus.
Section II: Free Response
30%1 question in 50 minutes — Device Security Analysis. You are given security policies, firewall configurations, file-system permissions and log files for a single device, and must identify security issues, detect evidence of attacks and evaluate controls.
Exam delivery
Fully digitalThe whole exam runs in the Bluebook app. There is no performance task and no scored project component. 2027 exam date: 5 May 2027.

About AP Siber Güvenlik
AP Cybersecurity launches in the 2026-27 school year as part of College Board's AP Career Kickstart programme. It is equivalent to a one-semester college introduction to cybersecurity and has no prerequisites. The course follows a defence-in-depth approach across five units, from physical spaces to networks, devices, applications and data, with each unit built on scenarios drawn from what cybersecurity professionals actually do. One detail matters for revision planning: College Board does not publish per-unit exam weightings for this course. The exam is weighted by three skill categories — Analyze Risk, Mitigate Risk and Detect Attacks, each 25-40% — so a study plan should be organised by skill rather than marched through unit by unit. Our programme puts those three skills at the centre and drills the log-and-configuration reading that the single free-response question demands.

Each session focuses on your specific weak topics, drills exam-format practice questions, and teaches FRQ / essay technique with the College Board's scoring rubric in front of us. Small-group AP courses — structured cohorts
Our small-group AP courses (max 6 students) give you a structured weekly programme alongside students chasing the same target. The syllabus tracks the College Board CED unit-by-unit and includes weekly quizzes plus full-length mock exams to benchmark progress. All cohorts are delivered live online, so students can join from anywhere in Europe.
