Refunds and withdrawal

If you are not satisfied after your first lesson, we refund your payment in full.

You can cancel a lesson package at any time. Lessons already given are charged at the single-lesson price and the rest is refunded. The first-lesson guarantee applies on top.

We do not offer free trial lessons. Payment is required before your first lesson.

Your 14-day right of withdrawal

Private tutoring. If you are a consumer, you can withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period ends 14 days after the day the contract is concluded, which is the day you complete the payment. At checkout you expressly request that the lessons may start before the withdrawal period ends, and you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully provided. If you withdraw after lessons have started, private lessons already given are charged at the single-lesson price, the lessons already held in a group course or private group are charged in proportion to the course, and the rest is refunded (Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 14(3)). Once all the lessons you bought have been given, the right of withdrawal ends (Article 16(a)). Our guarantees in section 7 go further and apply in addition; where both apply, you get whichever is better for you.

ACT Group Course

Prepare for the compulsory English, Math and Reading sections in a small class. Optional Science and Writing are covered through private tutoring rather than the group course.

  • 72 hours of live teaching: 62 hours of topic lessons and 10 hours of practice-test review
  • 24 places per course, split by level into classes of at most 6
  • ACT mock exams with review and analysis
  • 20 online ACT practice tests included
  • Full access to the ACT Question Bank included
  • Lesson recordings available for 14 days from each lesson

How it works

  1. 1

    Enrolment & Placement

Enrol and join a group matched to your level and goal.

  2. 2

    Small-Group Lessons

Join live online lessons in limited-capacity groups.

  3. 3

    Mocks & Question Practice

Regular mock exams and practice in the exam's own question format run throughout the programme.

  4. 4

    Ready on Exam Day

The programme is timed to your exam date, so you finish it fully prepared.

Refunds and withdrawal

If you are not satisfied after the lessons held in the first week, we refund your payment in full. After the first week, group course fees are not refunded. Each group is built around its enrolled students: the class size, the tutor and the timetable are set for them, and when one student leaves, the course changes for everyone else in the group. This does not affect your legal right to withdraw within 14 days of payment: if you withdraw in that period after lessons have started, the lessons already held are charged in proportion to the course and the rest is refunded.

A group opens when enough students have enrolled. If there are not enough enrolments, you choose what happens to your payment: a full refund, a place in the next group to start, or one-to-one lessons of the same value.

We do not offer free trial lessons. Payment is required before your first lesson.

TestPrep AI Tutor talks you through the questions you got wrong

When your ACT practice test ends, pick a mistake on your results page and the lesson starts. The tutor won't just read out the answer: it asks you, writes the steps on the board and lets you find where you went wrong.

You work out loud
No typing: you talk it through. Interrupt whenever you like, ask a question, or say “got it” and move on to the next one.
A shared board
The tutor writes the steps one under another; you write with the pen, and it reads your handwritten step and carries on from there.
It won't lead with the answer, or withhold it
It asks you first and gives hints one step at a time when you're stuck. Ask for the answer and you get it; the “Show the answer” button is always there too.
The exam's own Desmos
The same calculator you use in the ACT Math practice test is on screen. The tutor sees what you type, so it can tell a right method with a mistyped expression from a wrong method.
AI Tutor lesson screen: the wrong and blank questions on the left, an ACT Math question on complex numbers in the middle, and the tutor's steps written one under another on the board on the right.

FAQ

ACT Prep — Frequently Asked Questions

The questions students ask most about ACT preparation.

Depending on your starting level, we typically recommend 3–6 months. Intensive programmes can shorten this.

Our tutors hold undergraduate or postgraduate degrees in their subject and have experience in exam preparation. Selection combines a subject test, a trial lesson and student feedback.

All lessons run on the TestPrep Online Education Software we built specifically for tutoring. Lessons are live and interactive, and you can join from anywhere in the world.

Group courses and our higher-tier packages include mock exams. Additional mocks are available as add-ons for other plans.

We review your situation together — reassessing your study plan and tutor match, and providing extra support to help you reach your goal.

A group course takes 24 students, taught in classes of at most 6 because the group is split by level. Lessons are live and online, and every lesson is recorded; each recording stays available for 14 days from the lesson date.

The money-back guarantee covers live lessons. If you are not satisfied after your first private lesson, we refund your payment in full. On a group course, the same applies to the lessons held in the first week. After the first week, group course fees are not refunded. The question bank and practice tests are not part of it. We do not offer free trial lessons. Payment is required before your first lesson.

A group opens when enough students have enrolled. If there are not enough enrolments, you choose what happens to your payment: a full refund, a place in the next group to start, or one-to-one lessons of the same value.

Practice tests, question banks and TestPrep AI Tutor time are digital content. You can ask for a refund of a digital product you have not used within 14 days of the payment date. A product counts as used once any practice test in the pack has been started, any question in a paid section of the question bank has been opened, or any second of TestPrep AI Tutor time has been used; a used product is not refunded.

You can cancel a lesson package at any time. Lessons already given are charged at the single-lesson price and the rest is refunded. The first-lesson guarantee applies on top.

Lessons cancelled less than 3 hours before the start count as taken and are not refunded. A lesson that has not been paid for 3 hours before it starts is cancelled automatically.

Groups open for enrolment start on 30 November 2026 (for the 2 April 2027 ACT; enrol by 27 November 2026), 1 February 2027 (for the 11 June 2027 ACT; enrol by 29 January 2027) and 1 March 2027 (for the 9 July 2027 ACT; enrol by 26 February 2027). The next ACT test dates are 11 December 2026, 12 February 2027 and 2 April 2027.
