Built for Today's GMAT

The rules of the current GMAT apply in our tests too: question-by-question adaptivity, a section order you choose, and the chance to change answers at the end of each section.

  • Question-by-Question Adaptivity

Each question's difficulty depends on your previous answer: the more you get right, the harder the questions become.

  • Choose Your Section Order

Take the three sections in any order you like: before the test starts, you pick one of the six possible orders.

    QVDI
    Quant first
    VDIQ
    Verbal first
    DIQV
    Data Insights first
  • Review and Change Answers

At the end of each section you can review your answers and change up to three of them, just as on the real GMAT.

When your GMAT practice test is over, TestPrep AI Tutor goes back over the questions you got wrong with you, out loud. Rather than handing you the answer, it asks questions until you find the mistake yourself.

    • Talks you through it and listens
    • Works with you on a shared board
    • Your first 2 mistakes are free

Works on SAT, GMAT, GRE, PTE, IELTS, TOEFL, ACT, AP and YOS practice tests.

    How TestPrep AI Tutor works

TestPrep AI Tutor talks you through the questions you got wrong

When your GMAT practice test ends, pick a mistake on your results page and the lesson starts. The tutor won't just read out the answer: it asks you, writes the steps on the board and lets you find where you went wrong.

  • You work out loud
  • A shared board
  • It won't lead with the answer, or withhold it

Your first 2 mistakes are free (up to 10 minutes)

No card needed to try it, just your account.

GMAT Practice Tests — Frequently Asked Questions

Are the GMAT practice tests free?▾

The diagnostic test is free; the full-length practice tests are paid. The free diagnostic follows the real exam's section structure and timing and comes with a worked solution for every question, so you can see your level before you buy anything. The 20 full-length tests are sold one at a time or in bundles of 5, 10 and 20, and on paid tests you also get an AI study roadmap built from your mistakes.

Do the GMAT practice tests match the real exam?▾

They follow the real GMAT's section structure and timing. The questions are prepared by our team; they are not taken from the official exam.

How many times can I take each test?▾

Up to twice. The second attempt lets you sit the same test again after working on your mistakes and see how much you have improved.

Do I choose which tests go into my bundle?▾

Yes. Once you pick a 5, 10 or 20-test bundle, you tick the tests you want from the 20 available, and you pay for exactly that selection.

How long do I have access to the tests I buy?▾

Practice tests you buy stay available on your account for 12 months from the date of purchase. When they come with a tutoring package or a course, the 12 months start on the day they are unlocked on your account.

What do I see when I finish a test?▾

Your score and a detailed report straight away, with a worked explanation for every question. On paid tests, AI also builds a study roadmap from your wrong answers. You can go back over your mistakes out loud with TestPrep AI Tutor too; your first 2 mistakes are free.

How should I use GMAT practice tests in my prep?▾

Start with the free diagnostic to set a baseline, then take a full-length test at regular intervals to track your progress. Work on the topics the report flags between tests; that is where most of the improvement comes from.

How do these compare with the free official GMAT practice exams on mba.com?▾

Take GMAC's free Official Practice Exams on mba.com first. Ours are not official tests; our team writes the questions. After them, you get 20 more full-length tests in the question-adaptive GMAT format: choosing your section order, changing up to 3 answers at the end of a section, an instant score estimate on the 205-805 scale, section-level analysis and an explanation for every question. You can also start with our free diagnostic test; the full-length tests are paid.
