Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 16, you confirm that a parent or guardian has registered on your behalf and accepted these Terms for you.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity on your account. Tell us immediately at the email on the contact page if you suspect unauthorised access. Accounts are personal — you may not share, lend or transfer them. Multiple sessions across reasonable numbers of personal devices are fine; sharing with classmates is not.

3. Purchases, pricing and refunds

Prices are shown on each product page in the relevant currency and include VAT where applicable. Payment is processed by Stripe. Once a purchase is completed, the corresponding access (e.g. question bank subscription, practice test attempt, tutoring hours) is activated on your account.

Right of withdrawal (EU consumers). You have 14 days from the date of purchase to withdraw and request a full refund, provided you have not started consuming the digital content. By starting a practice test, opening a question bank, redeeming AI tutor minutes or attending a tutoring session you expressly waive your right of withdrawal for that specific item, in line with Article 16(m) of the Consumer Rights Directive.

Outside that window, refunds are at our discretion and typically apply only to unused tutoring hours or duplicate charges.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, scrape or attempt to extract our content or question banks in bulk.
• Share course materials, recorded sessions or practice questions with anyone outside your household.
• Submit AI-tutor or practice-test answers on behalf of someone else for a real-world test.
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or to harass, threaten or impersonate others.
• Disrupt the service, attempt to bypass authentication, or probe for vulnerabilities without authorisation.

5. Intellectual property

All course materials, question banks, practice tests, video recordings, study guides, branding and software are owned by TestPrep Europe or our licensors and are protected by copyright and related rights. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use them solely for your own exam preparation while your account is active.

Names of standardised tests (SAT, GMAT, GRE, IELTS, TOEFL, IB, AP, etc.) are trademarks of their respective owners. TestPrep Europe is not affiliated with, nor endorsed by, any of these organisations unless explicitly stated.

6. AI tutor & user-generated content

Our AI tutor produces responses generated by third-party language models. Output is provided for educational guidance only — always double-check important factual claims against official exam materials. We may store transcripts of your sessions to improve the product and detect abuse, in line with the Privacy Policy.

You retain ownership of any content you submit (essays, free-form answers, questions to the tutor) but grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and process it as needed to operate the service.

7. Disclaimers & no guarantee of outcomes

We work hard to help you reach your target score, but exam results depend on many factors outside our control (your effort, prior knowledge, test-day conditions). We do not guarantee that you will achieve any particular score, admission or visa outcome.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement, except to the extent such warranties cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence or anything that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Termination

You can close your account at any time from your profile page. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, particularly the acceptable-use rules. Where possible, we will notify you first and give you a chance to remedy the issue.

10. Changes

We may amend these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or an in-product banner at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after that date counts as acceptance.

11. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the law of the country where TestPrep Europe is established, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence. Disputes will first be addressed informally — please contact us before filing any claim. EU consumers can also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.
