A-Level Sociology examines society through topics such as education, families, beliefs, crime and deviance, and stratification, using sociological theory and research methods. It is a strong foundation for sociology, social work, criminology, education and media studies.

A-Level Sociology examines social structures, institutions and individual behaviour through the lens of sociological theory and empirical research. In AQA 7192, Education and Crime and Deviance are compulsory, and Paper 2 adds one topic from each of two option groups, for example Families and Households, Beliefs in Society or Stratification and Differentiation. Each student buys their own place online, and we let you know as soon as your group is ready.
