AP Research is one of the most ambitious experiences available at the high-school level. Students design and execute an independent research project on a topic of their choice, conduct a literature review, collect and analyse data, write a 4,000–5,000-word academic paper and defend their findings before a panel. The experience is a small-scale simulation of a university thesis or PhD process and is particularly valuable for students applying to research-intensive universities. Our programme assigns a dedicated mentor to every student to guide topic selection, methodology, drafting and oral defence preparation.
