Who is the August 2027 GRE group for?

Timing
Lessons run from 14 August 2027 to 28 November 2027, at weekends. That runs from summer into autumn; the summer weeks fall when schools in much of Europe are on their long break, so plan trips around the lessons. The weekend timetable is built for people who work or study during the week.
Applications
Many programmes take applications by fixed deadlines or in rounds. The course ends in late autumn: if you are aiming at rounds for master's and doctoral programmes that close in the winter, allow for the time scores take to arrive. ETS says official scores typically arrive 8–10 days after the test.
Planning
The last 5 weeks (31 October 2027 to 28 November 2027) are practice-test reviews, so time your test for after they finish.

Deadlines and accepted scores differ from one programme to the next; check each programme's own pages.

About the GRE course

Frequently Asked Questions

When can I sit the GRE General Test after the course?▾

The last lesson is on Sunday 28 November 2027. The GRE General Test has no fixed test day, so you choose a date after it through your ETS account, at a test centre or at home. The first Saturday after the course is 4 December 2027, so a date around then is possible once the practice-test weeks are done.

When will my GRE General Test scores arrive?▾

You see unofficial Verbal Reasoning and Quantitative Reasoning scores at the end of the test. ETS says official scores, Analytical Writing included, typically reach your ETS account 8–10 days later. If you test on Saturday 4 December 2027, for example, expect them around 14 December 2027; plan your application deadlines with that in mind.

What are the rules if I need to retake the GRE General Test?▾

ETS lets you take the GRE General Test once every 21 days, up to 5 times in any rolling 12 months. If you test on Saturday 4 December 2027, the earliest second attempt is 25 December 2027. Your scores can be reported for 5 years from test day.

Are there days or weeks without lessons in this group?▾

No. There are lessons in every one of the 16 weeks: 72 live lessons run without a break from 14 August 2027 to 28 November 2027.

When does the August 2027 GRE class start?▾

It starts on 14 August 2027 and ends on 28 November 2027: 16 weeks, with 11 weeks of lessons and then 5 weeks of practice-test review. The enrolment deadline is 11 August 2027.

When and how are the lessons taught?▾

Lessons are taught live online on Saturday and Sunday. The course has 72 hours of live teaching in all (Türkiye time). Every lesson is recorded, and you can watch the recording for 14 days.

How big are the groups?▾

A group course takes 24 students, taught in classes of at most 6 because the group is split by level. With so few students in a class, everyone gets to ask questions and have their work looked at.

How much is the GRE group course?▾

The August 2027 class costs €941 as a single payment, or 2 monthly instalments of €515. Card payments are processed securely through Stripe. Eligible one-off payments also offer bank transfer; enrolment completes after our team confirms receipt. Instalments are paid by card only.

Can I get my money back if the course isn't for me?▾

Yes. If you're not happy after the first week, we refund 100% of the fee. After the first week, group course fees are not refunded. That's why the question bank and practice tests included with the course only open once the first week is over. We do not offer free trial lessons. Payment is required before your first lesson.

What happens if the group doesn't open?▾

A group opens when enough students have enrolled. If there are not enough enrolments, you choose what happens to your payment: a full refund, a place in the next group to start, or one-to-one lessons of the same value.

What if I miss a lesson?▾

Every live lesson is recorded. Watch the one you missed from your dashboard within 14 days of the lesson, and you'll keep pace with the group.
